Well hello there, remember me? I know, I know, what is consistency right? I'm working on, things have been a bit crazy, and well... let's just say my mojo is low. I've been lacking the motivation to not only blog, but to REALLY get dressed. Jeans and a black tank have been my go-to. I forgot how much of an attitude adjustment can be made when you decide to just get dressed, even if it's to go to the local grocery store. That's exactly what happened with this outfit. (minus the store lol)
Do you ever have those items that you've harbored forever but never really figure out how to wear? Yeah, that's exactly what this leather is for me. I found it about 3 years ago at a thrift store for $9, if I remember correctly. Now, why I chose to wear it on a 98 degree weather kind of day, let's just say i'm a true fire sign. (Aries) Although the day ended up scorching (and I ended up changing into a jean mini), I needed my cute little plaid jacket while out & about earlier that morning. I snagged this cutie from leftovers of a clothing swap hosted by a friend of mine.
You know me, "one man's trash is another man's treasure."
Who would've know an outfit with 3 items or less would be so fun to sport. Let's not forget to mention that 50% of the outfit was thrifted and the other half gifted.
I came across these TUK black & leopard creepers at a local Crossroads Trading Co. for a sweet $30, alongside a cute little $5 black dress. On the other hand, I was gifted this awesome customized military jacket in return for helping a friend move, along with the socks.
Not a bad deal if you ask me. Check out the vintage feels below!
A random stroll around the Rose Bowl turned into a photo shoot.
Thanks to always having my camera handy & a skilled cousin nearby.
Complete outfit: Thrifted
Sneakers: Adidas Originals X Opening Ceremony
I'm back with new thrifted finds as well as new hair! I can never look one way to long.
This time I bring you the most comfortable & lightweight velvet pants ever! Thrifted over a year ago in Paso Robles, I cam across the most a sweet pair of black high-waisted velvet pants. They're pretty straight leg, so I don't get much of a shape out of them, but with all the hard work in the gym i've been putting in lately, my baby butt still gives me just enough. (Don't Judge lol)
Along with these pants, my shirt & jacket are thrifted as well. Actually, I bought my jacket from a sweet buyer on the Vintage app. Cehck it out if you haven't already, especially if you're good at finding treasure in other people's 'trash'.
The biggest name-brand you'll see in this outfit would be my boots... Forever 21. Hahaha, You can't go wrong with $25 boots.
Check out the Vinted app if you haven't already, you'll so many great finds! Also, stay on the look out for a chance to be able to shop my very own thrifted gems. Soon you'll be able to buy some of the great vintage finds that I pick up randomly while on my adventures. Save yourself the trouble of sifting through racks & racks of clothing in order to find that one unique item that steps up your wardrobe.
Until next outfit!

It's officially fall & i'm super stoked! I'm all for chilly days & layered clothes. Here's a quick look I put together, working around this awesome Aztec print flannel button up I found... you guessed it, THRIFTING! I picked this gem up sometime last year at a Goodwill, while living in Paso Robles, CA. I paired it with an old pair of thritfed black jeans & my trustee dirty Chuck Taylors.
Here we have another thrifted look. I came up on this cute little cut-out floral dress. The details are what sold me. From the sexy yet not too revealing cut-outs, to the gold-linked halter neck tie, it just worked for me. There was a little defect on the neck tie in the back, but nothing I couldn't doctor up.
I threw on a few accessories & finished the look off with a 'new to me' pair of Air Max 90's that I picked up in the men's section at Crossroads Trading Co. in Old Town Pasadena.
I didn't get a good picture of them with this outfit, but I've posted a picture below to give you a better look.
Let me know what you thought about this quick look. Do you love thrifting as much as I do? If so, show me some of your favorite thrifted pieces!
So, I found this awesome jersey tank while thirfting in the men's section somewhere. I'll have to admit that the big block letters & 'all seeing eye' might have been what sold me. Make a statement much?
I'm not an accessories kind of lady, but I have been consciously trying to remember to throw a bracelet or ring on here & there.
My favorite part of the outfit goes to my shoes. The lovely T.U.K. CREEPERS.
The best part about these is the fact that I got them for half the price thanks to a seller on VINTED!
If you haven't heard of that app yet, make sure you check it out! I've found ton's of awesome deals on there, not to mention the ease of selling my own items.
