Kendrick Lamar Speaks On Drake, Says He Has Nothing Against Him

Ever since Kendrick Lamar unleashed the beast in his 'Control' verse, obviously ruffling some feathers, there has been non stop chatter in response to the artists he named in his 'murderous' rundown.
One of those artist took the jab personally, stating that he probably wouldn't work with Kendrick anytime soon & that person was none other than Drake.
During the infamous BET Cypher, where Kendrick pretty much went Rambo again, this time with shots seemingly interpreted just for Drake. "Nothing's been the same since they dropped 'Control' / And tucked the sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes / Ha-ha, jokes on you / High-five, I'm bullet proof / Your s--ts will never penetrate / Pin the tail on the donkey, boy, you've been a fake."
Drake also said commented "He’s gonna have another album and another opportunity to take the world by storm again. So, he’ll be alright. Even if it doesn't feature any of the names he mentioned, which it probably won’t, to be honest with you. I don’t know who’s gonna go back from that and be like, ‘Yeah, let’s link up.’ Nah, but he’ll be alright."
After all this time Kendrick Lamar makes it clear in his recent interview with New York radio station Power 105.1, "I've got nothing against Drake. He put out a great album, again. He's doing his thing, and he's part of this new generation."
Kendrick clearly explains that he was just having fun & how 'Hip Hop is a sport. People are gonna dissect lyrics and that's what it's about at the end of the day.'
I think this is one of the most creative competitions happening right now. Kendrick has the perfect mindset about the situation. It's pretty much friendly competition, and instead of looking at it as a negative thing, it should be motivating. I think that was a perfect way to shake up the hip hop community.
